We have received two saki monkeys, Piojina and Bigotina, from the Amazon Rescue Centre (CREA), and a badly injured red uakari baby, Bonnie. Also Chispa, a two-fingered sloth has arrived at Pilpintuwasi.
Secondly and most importantly, we would like to say thank you to all of you who have made a donation. With these donations, we have expanded the enclosure for our tapir. Chibolo is now swimming free and enjoying the whole lake.
More good news regarding Marbino, our manatee, who has now been transferred to CREA where he is receiving the best care and is being prepared for his release within the next few months. Many thanks to the Amazon Rescue Centre.
We want to thank you again for your involvement and support. Thanks to your donations, our animals have a good life quality, are healthy and happy. Also a special thanks to our volunteers, your help and care make a big difference for us keeping this place running.
